Collaborative, Learner-focused Curriculum
Our curriculum offers a hands-on, advanced approach to learning.
The Dublin Methodist Family Medicine Residency program allows for daily time in the office for every PGY level. This is to immerse family medicine residents in outpatient-based experiences, even during some rotations that are traditionally and heavily inpatient based, such as surgery and cardiology. Our didactics also broaden and enhance traditionally based training. We employ an advanced, integrated discussion-based format that engages residents with faculty and specialists in a more dynamic, personalized didactic atmosphere. Residents can build flexibility into their studies using six elective rotations. Our program is designed to ensure residents experience success and well-being during their years of training.

Dublin Methodist Family Medicine residents have the opportunity to explore areas of family medicine that are of interest through our areas of concentration, tracks and longitudinal curricula. Residents are not required to commit to an area of concentration or a track. They are open to all residents.

- Longitudinal Curriculum
Our longitudinal curriculum includes integrated behavioral health, practice management, sports medicine, experience in ultrasound and wellness. All residents are required to participate in the longitudinal curriculum.
- Longitudinal OMT Elective
We offer a three-year, optional, longitudinal osteopathic curriculum for DO and MD residents.
- Lifestyle Medicine
Dublin Methodist Family Medicine is a Lifestyle Medicine Board Eligible residency program. Upon completion of both the educational and practicum components of the integrated Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum, residents will be qualified for the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine certification exam.
