What We Want You to Know
OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is a world-class facility equipped with a wide variety of amenities. With a Tim Hortons, Starbucks and full-service café on-site, we are able to provide a number of quality options to all patients and visitors. Riverside Methodist is also located near several area hotels in a convenient area of Columbus, Ohio.
General Parking Information for Riverside Methodist
We realize that Riverside Methodist can be an overwhelming place. As a result, we’ve included detailed parking information on this page and clear directional signage all over our campus. If you’re being referred to Riverside Methodist, be sure to ask your physician’s office where the closest parking is for the area you’ll be visiting.
- Parking Information and Fees
- 0-2 hours: $0
- 2 or more hours: $5 (All garages and the Yellow Lot)
- Visitors should keep their parking ticket with them at all times.
- Handicapped parking is available in all lots and garages. If no handicap spaces are available, ask any parking or valet staff for assistance.
- Security officers are on duty at all times.

Red Garage and Entrance:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Green Garage and Entrance:
5 AM to 7 PM (public EV charging located here)
*Please Note: The areas between the green garage and blue valet are under construction until further notice.Purple Garage and Entrance:
6 AM to 8 PM
Yellow Parking Lot and Entrance:
5 AM to 9 PM general access, 24/7 for maternity care

Valet parking is available at the following locations for a cost of $7 for single use and $10 for re-entry and re-exit.
Blue Main Entrance Valet:
Monday - Friday, 5 AM to 8 PM
No Valet on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
*Please Note: The areas between the green garage and blue valet are under construction until further notice.Yellow Entrance (Women’s Health) Valet:
24/7 for maternity care, and 5 AM to 9 PM for general access. Yellow entrance closes at 9 PM.
Red Entrance Valet:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Green Entrance Valet:
Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Green entrance closes at 7 PM.
Purple Entrance (Bing Cancer Center) Valet:
Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 8 PM
Saturday - Sunday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM- Car Return
You may have your car returned to any Riverside Methodist entrance/exit. Your car does not have to be returned to the entrance in which you valet parked when you arrived.
- Call-ahead Service
You may use “call-ahead” service. Ask your nurse or patient support assistant PSA to call the number listed on your valet ticket to request that your car be ready when you are discharged from the hospital at any entrance/exit.
- Extended Stay Parking Passes
If you are in the hospital for 14 or more consecutive days, parking for visitors is free. Parking passes are issued for two weeks at a time for up to two visitors. Ask your caregiver to call the Care Coordination office and they will bring you your parking passes.
Visiting Hours
We understand the importance of family and friends to a patient's recovery. Visiting hours may vary for some units based on the patient's condition and needs.
Families should speak to the patient's nurse to determine the most appropriate visitation schedule.

Smoking is not permitted inside or outside Riverside Methodist, or any OhioHealth facility.
Riverside Methodist Hospital Pastoral Care
The Chapel and Meditation Room are located off of the Main Blue Lobby and open 24 hours for personal prayer or quiet time.
Guests can access the Pastoral Care office from the Blue Lobby Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Religious services are offered each Sunday and on religious holidays. Interdenominational Chapel Services are held Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m.

Housekeeping and Environmental Services
Housekeeping is about more than just cleanliness. It’s our opportunity to make a first and lasting impression during your visit. Comfort and safety are a significant part of your healthcare. Your room will be cleaned daily throughout your stay. Please speak with your healthcare provider if you have any questions or concerns.
Recycling/Sustainability
This hospital is committed to preserving the environment. You can ask an associate if recycling is available on your floor or use our recycling bins in the cafeteria. You can also use a reusable cup or bottle.
